ARIZONA ORANGE BLOSSOM HONEY

Sweet! Local, NOT California, kissed by the Arizona central valley sun, this 100% unheated, unfiltered and raw, just like all of our honey, it is a must have. We finally found the right keeper to help bring back this sweet mix of magic and will have it on a regular basis now. This is the Prosecco of our family, but also the sweetest honey by far!

CACAO POWDER

Cacao beans are seeds of the Theobroma cacao tree, a small tree grown in South America. Cacao beans are roasted and ground to produce cocoa and, after further processing, are the basis of chocolate. BUT when the beans are dried at low temperature they are called raw cacao beans, which can be consumed whole, broken into pieces called nibs or ground to produce raw cocoa powder.

Drizzle on your toast in the morning or on real vanilla ice cream. Dip some strawberries in for a fresh afternoon snack, eat it right from the spoon, mix it into your favorite smoothie, or compliment your best cheese platter with this golden honey.

Health benefits are a mile long, and if you want more energy, better hair, skin and your dose of free radical scavenging antioxidants, a powerful aphrodisiac and fertility promoter, improved athletic performance, quicker recovery times, help with anemia, colitis, constipation, asthma, sinusitis, and bronchitis, and a super dose of B vitamins that help reduce stress and promote longevity...eat up!

Cacao beans are rich in natural antioxidant compounds with many health benefits. Cacao beans contain natural chemicals called flavonoids, a type of antioxidant compound that promotes general health and might lower your risk of several diseases. One type of flavonoid, called anthocyanidin, is especially high in cacao beans, along with other compounds called epicatechins.

These compounds are powerful antioxidants and are especially concentrated in cocoa, a product of cacao beans. Researchers compared the antioxidant capacity of black tea, green tea, red wine and cocoa, concluding that cocoa has the highest antioxidant activity among the four products and the greatest potential for health benefits.
